I have gone between having a fat stomach to a sixpack more than fourteen times. Unfortunately its never easy going through the process of “ uuhhhgg look at the amount of fat on my stomach” to “ yo check out my sixpack!”. In bodybuilding getting some fat on your stomach is what “bodybuilders would call the off season is no big deal along as you get it off before contest time.

While it's never easy going through the process of losing the fat on your stomach here are some secrets that I learned through the years that have definitely made it easier.

1. You will usually lose a good amount of fat in your face, chest, arms, and legs before you will really notice any significant fat loss on your stomach.

2. It is possible to lose a good amount of weight and still have the fat on your stomach. Don't make the mistake of thinking that bodyweight and bodyfat are the same thing.

3. Hard, shorter high intensity cardio (example-45 minutes) tends to bring much faster results than longer casual low intensity cardio (example-90 mins).

4. Often the fat on your stomach will tend to get very lose, jiggly and just plain nasty looking before you get your sixpack. I believe this nasty jiggly look comes from your body taking away the infastructure of blood vessels, hormone levels, etc. away from the fat that you are trying to lose.

When this happens don't get discouraged with your training! This, in my experience, means your getting close. It reminds me of Moses crossing through the Red Sea. You have to go through the hard stuff to get to the promised land.

5. Having a fat stomach can be some of the best motivation in the world for training and eating right and generally getting healthy .It looks nasty, feels nasty and literally weighs you down.

6. Here is the biggest secret.........I usually don't do any direct ab training such as situps, crunches, legs lifts etc. My abs get more than enough work indirectly from the other body parts that I train so that once the fat comes off there has AlWAYS been for me a beautiful sixpack looking like a leather car seat waiting.

These are just some of what, I would call, secrets that I know that help me get through the process of going from a fat stomach to a sixpack.

Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-12476950263957593282011-05-31T05:36:00.000-07:002011-05-31T06:16:21.244-07:00Five Things That Can Be Learned From Weight Loss Tv Shows

Five Things That Can Be Learned From Weight Loss Tv Shows

The show the "Biggest Loser" has been on for years now. Now another show enters the weight loss genre of TV "Extreme Weight Loss From” ABC. This show actually focuses on people who were rejected from appearing on the Biggest Loser for being too overweight .

I believe that there are some amazing things to be learned from these shows.

1. You are often more capable than what you think you are when it comes to training and eating correctly.
2. You need to take responsibility for your actions and realize that you gained the weight yourself through your own bad choices.
3. You need a strong support system. You need someone to hold you accountable so you stay on course to hitting your goals.
4. Training, eating correctly, and doing cardio are extremely hard work. The casual training while having conversations you see at the local gym aren't going to cut it if you want to transform your body.
5. You should never give up. If you set a goal and don't meet that goal then set another goal and try to hit that one until your hit ultimate goal of body transformation.

I'm not a big TV watcher, but when you are trying to eat correctly, weight train or do cardio this weight loss genre of TV can actually be a valuable tool in your arsenal to helping you stay motivated and achieving your own fitness goals.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-85009412558178639232011-05-27T12:30:00.000-07:002011-05-27T13:04:06.467-07:00The Truth About Age And Fitness Training

The Truth About Age And Fitness Training

I was about seventeen years old. I had various first place wins in my weight class in teenage and open mens class bodybuilding competition. I dedicated a lot of time to bodybuiding and I knew that I was good. I was waiting to be called to the stage when I noticed a man with almost all gray hair, with a lightly wrinkled but determined looking face wearing a large black sweatshirt.

When he took off his sweat shirt, he amazed myself and everyone else backstage. He was a human tank! Large chest, well developed wide shoulders, a perfect six pack and a tiny waist, with a pair of huge deeply striated legs to bottom off the rest of his body. My heart sunk I knew from a glance there was no way I could beat this guy.

This grey haired spectacular bodybuilder walked past me, entered the forty years old plus Masters competition and changed my idea of age forever.

That competitor was fifty five years old.

Metabolism does change as you get older it slowed down but in my experience not nearly to the degree that most people claim. Your appearance is controlled more by what you do then by what age you are especially when it comes to how much muscle or fat you hold.

In my experience as a personal trainer over the last Ten years I have consistently had the best training experiences with people as far as attitude and results that were age 40 and older.

The best experience I have ever had was with training as far as getting results is an individual named Joseph Williams. Who I began to train for competitive bodybuilding at 53 years of age. Joe's other acomplishments include becoming a champion in over 10 other body building championships from the state to international level and competeing against me.

Let me break down just some of the things I have learned about age and fitness as I have been blessed to have trained individuals from as young as 12 to as old as 70 something (my 70 something year old client never did tell me her exact age)

1. Training males as young as 12 years old I have seen significant increase in muscle and strength
2. I have experienced very little strength degradation related to age of until after 65 years old.
3. In training my 70 something year old I and was amazed to see her actually acquire striations in her leg muscles through our training together.
4. I have come to believe that major changes in body fat as as far as age happen more because of age related activities than metabolism
examples:
(some Kids under the age of 12-activities- skateboarding, riding bikes playing tag)
(some Adults over the age of 30-activities- watching tv, watching kids play, playing cards).

5. I have seen males get stronger simply by going from their 20 into their 30s and 40s I'm not taking about with training I am talking about simply aging! Strange but also awesome and true.
6. The strongest most powerful males I have ever trained have been over 40 years old!(shout out to Bob and Rick)

While age does slow the metabolism down as you get older it is nowhere near the amount that the average person thinks.

I would suggest for young kids to wait until the age of 12 to begin serious training (though I have had my kids doing some type of causal training as young as age 2).

Don't use your age as an excuse for significant fat gain or muscle loss, instead I hope you use this info to motivate yourself to get training!
Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-54220007817775457722011-05-24T09:14:00.001-07:002011-05-24T11:19:26.880-07:00How To Start Training When You Have No Idea How To Start

How To Start Training When You Have No Idea How To Start

Someone very close to me asked how do you start training when you have no idea how to start training?

Four things came to my Mind

1. Make the decision to start training and eating right
2. Make a plan or find some one to help you make a plan (this blog might be a good place to start)
3. Set a goal
4. Stick to the plan
example
1. I am tired of how I look and feel. I will start training and eating better Monday of next week

2. I will only eat food that I bring in for lunch or buy at the cafeteria. I will not eat anything brought in by sales reps or goodies that any employees bring in from home.
I will do some type of physical activity at least 20 mins every other day even if its only during commercial breaks

3. My goal is to gain control of my eating within the time of 1 month. I will only eat what I plan to eat. I will begin doing regular physical activity every other day by the end of the month.

4. I will make a concerted effort to stick to the plan.

This isn't everything you need to bring about a major change to your body, but it is a start.

“A thousand mile journey begins with the first step”

Lao TzuAli Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-87805798250916233792011-05-23T09:21:00.000-07:002011-05-23T10:01:06.793-07:00Friendly Competition Might Be The Key To Hitting Your Fitness Goals

THE ARMS RACE

“Use Friendly Competition To Hit Your Fitness Goals”

As a kid another kid says "how fast can you get to the front door of the house from the street". The excitement of catching people staring at your results from eating all those boring foods all those annoying times a day should more than make up for the lack of excitement in your daily meals.

Sample Meal

7:30 am 1 bowl oatmeal (not the instant kind)

9:30 am 3 egg whites , 1 egg yoke

11:30 am 2 Pieces of fruit (example: orange, and a pear)

1:30 pm 1 Piece of chicken about the size of one of you hands

3:30 pm 2 Pieces of fruit

5:30 pm 1 Piece of chicken about the size of one of you hands

7:30 pm 1 protein Shake ( I currently use Pure Protein 100%whey Protein)
Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-12929033319075821182011-05-18T08:50:00.001-07:002012-04-07T22:05:24.367-07:00Interactive Tips On Training Your BodyTypeAll the body types have strengths and advantages that people with other body types would often like to have. Remember the question" Can you really lose a massive amount of FAT in 3 months?"

Its amazing the change in appearance that you can have in a fairly small amount of time. Granted it takes suffering, perservarance, and discipline but what good things in life usually don't.

Ok heres the most important question how do you lose a massive amount in 3 months?

1. Eat 6 small meals a day, each meal should be about both of you hands cupped together. Eat Breakfast like a king, Lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.
2. Do some type of muscle-training at least 3 times a week-duration should be about 45 mins to an hour at the longest. (you can train short and hard or long and easy)
3. Do 20-45 mins of cardio at least 3 times a week.

Just wanted to put out some quick tips since I am about to enter the 3 month schedule myself. I usually lose about 20-30 pounds of actual weight and about 10-15 pounds of body fat in that period.

By the way I found an excellent source of cardio at the LA Boxing gym in Turnersville N.J. I don't work for them or get any endorsements from them but my gosh the cardio workout they put me through was excellent. Much respect to them and I truly believe they are one of the best ways to get off some body fat acquired while siting behind a desk, completing the design and flash work for a corporate website.

If anyone is interested they give out free classes to people who have never been there before. Today I will be attending the first of my own 3 month period cardio Kickboxing classes there. I think they start around 5:30 pm. I'll be there at least 3 times a week.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-32715772285892055742010-09-27T14:48:00.000-07:002010-09-27T15:06:17.996-07:00HOW TO KEEP YOUR EATING ON TARGET<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_rv6OhZW5c3uLlIJI9J1lKngwOIdWkbm7EvW4qlSMX9qG93c_eW6Tnj-_sAa1NDl8YmRku1pk7wE1rlJlFfGz6zr-vUWWwZnEHXmVP82m4TPnytQEsBcIyFjDPhMvU9Hm6sHJeaNx9zbj/s400/HEADS+UPS+DISPLAYc.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5521715467021364002" />

Eat 5-6 meals a day. These meals should be the size of a small salsa bowl or both of your hands cupped together.

Makes sure that you eat enough food a day. It may sound strange recommending this, however some people take their reduced calorie eating plan so far that they eat too few calories which will result in them having low energy levels during the day which can hinder any weight training or cardio plans which they are on. Also when your energy levels are too low this will often lead to you losing control of your eating and you destroying your eating plan for the day.

Try to pick a day of the week to prepare the meals that you will be eating through out the week. This will make it hard to eat incorrectly since you will be able to consume a meal when it is time to eat with out concerning yourself with taste or having to figure out what you are going to eat right then and there which can lead to poor choices.

Try to prepare your foods by baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, or grilling.

Drink lots of water. Drinking water will allow your body to function at its most effective which will in turn lead to you losing body fat faster.

Please comment or email me if you are interested in learning more detailed information about eating plans and body fat loss.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-8959314239877976462010-09-23T14:05:00.000-07:002010-09-23T14:11:38.657-07:00The True Show Muscle of the Arm<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSiS00lQkNN_1nU0AeSxdZZWFF91BjOynLLeseAF_FhHa2J5ls88d65aKhesWF4MrMnO0mHnIyFwvk145Uws5eY83i6uY0-S8VohFcQnc62TYcdHwv_oKpWJ_byEs3m8-qvV4XP7HzkpSo/s200/trrrp.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520218612420497570" />
Most Guys when asked to show their arms will Quickly pull up their sleeves and flex their biceps at you. I would like to share some quick information with you about my strategies for succeeding when you want to look your best when being viewed from behind.

The Butt (gluteus maximums) is the largest muscle in the body.

The Butt must be trained with a high volume of sets and reps to achieve the kind of hard tight look most people are seeking.

4-5 exercises using 3 sets with repetitions ranging between 30 to 150 should be used along with static flexing to achieve results. When some one with little to no Butt is trying to build a Butt I advise the use of fairly good weight with 3 sets of different exercises with repetitions ranging between 20-50.

If anyone wants me to explain more about developing a more pronounce or tighter Butt email me or comment and I would be happy to answer you questions.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-70228265538192500552010-09-21T14:18:00.000-07:002010-09-21T14:26:55.863-07:003 WAYS TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE TRAINING HARD ENOUGH TO GET RESULTS<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 254px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBucDxYplDoSyeAO-rwYyk9ZTMqImCzt6VIEyiduOuD6tUgEIey9NIhexjXAZRoXQtx6zKlxGVlEnjjTys8ysPHlm63h32m86a0cY-RFiLNYw3RQjYBYcp6yXZ8Oq5CWZNgeg_Lw7oc0hj/s200/intensity+border.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5519480994687389778" />
Please do not make the mistake of thinking that if you train with weights and do cardio that you will get results. Trust me lifting weights and doing cardio absolutely does not mean that you will change your physique for the better.

All training is communication with the body. You want that communication to be as clear as possible. There is one word that when it is applied will make the communication clear every rep through every set.

The word is INTENSITY.

I will try to be as clear as possible when describing this word since I assure you it is most important factor in my training success.

Intensity can be defined as a application of maximum effort systemically applied to a technical motor skill.

Here are some extremely important things to remember when dealing with this most important of training subjects

You must be experienced in a technique before intensity is applied, otherwise you might be injured.
For intensity to truly be reached physical discomfort must be mastered.
In trying to achieve intensity you must be mentally prepared to the pain that often accompanies it.

The brain must be taught to reinterpret pain as pleasure for as least as long as you are in your set.
This can be done in one of three ways

(1) constant effort
(2) repetitive exposure
(3) absolute determination to SUCCEED.
(4)
You must learn to take victory over pain to achieve true physique changing intensity. When that intensity is achieved massive muscle gains or firmly shaped muscles will be the visible signs of your victory!Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-57769195191179588862010-09-20T14:25:00.000-07:002010-09-20T14:26:08.738-07:00Playstation Move is Here, But is it any good for Body Fat Loss?<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 179px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic87P0MfYXjjkNbGZJ16TxJoc_o9iMeUk7mfk7xVGnJI85vAzOeSoQJJkNI5HWz_9laZm4hDcPOghGfwc1suVOZ1wAGhQepO2RRpyo0zr6oB2qqT_2vMHteP3t1x45f_wNkj4eSnpChyCl/s200/moveblog.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5519110074599613202" />

Playstation Move for those who do not know is an extremely accurate motion controller device for the Playstation 3 video game console. I do believe that you can buy this device have fun with it and in addition lose some body fat from all the cardio that you will get from playing games like the Ping Pong game packaged in with the Playstation Move bundle package.

I can not wait to see what Sony will come up in the future as far as games that will help you burn massive calories while having fun doing it.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-3999485920166169562010-09-17T14:25:00.001-07:002010-09-17T14:33:57.301-07:00WHY YOU DO NOT NEED TO TRAIN MORE THAN 3 DAYS A WEEK<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLIClodd1ewLF2wBVCY8EazwTvM84DDxdMD4y2oOw8QnLFQnyHkjGARHrCSggWrWh_uUds6Rwr4fl7tjgfkTW36YdJANY2l95WitqKD9VVVd-wOUOcpaoS1JP_U2QkjeoV99AB0HLISPGS/s200/dumrow.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5517996946365856162" />
People often make the mistake of thinking that the major process of changing your body for the better comes about during the current training session that they are in. I sometimes get amazed looks when people hear of my bodybuilding contest history and that I only train 3 days a week.

The major process that brings about change DOES NOT HAPPEN WHILE YOU TRAIN but while your are asleep or resting the next day.

All weight training deals with communication within the body. When you train, you tell your body change for the better, get stronger, harder, etc. If you train effectively the body has no choice but to respond, but it will only do this at rest.

Unfortunately most people do not understand this concept so they train longer and more often than needed with very little progress. This leads to wasted hours in the gym and frustration.

Train for forty five to sixty minute sessions, three times a week, get plenty of rest and you will be amazed at your progress!

If you want more detailed information about my training style please email and I'll try to do my best to answer your questions.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-34492864095500057342010-09-15T14:46:00.000-07:002010-09-15T15:07:02.909-07:00HATE YOUR BODY FAT? I have seen the hope in their eyes as they imagine going through the day interacting with others confidently with their lean tight body making statements for them before a word is even spoken. Sometimes i seen them cheer as they get on the scale and look at another reduction in body weight. I have often seen them look slightly worried at themselves in the mirror wondering why even though their weight has dropped remarkably they do not look better. I have seen people's eyes fill up with tears when they tell me that the stupid diet they just tried worked for a while but then after the first initial gains, the body weight they lost came rushing back to them along with an additional 20 pounds of pure fat.

I have felt disgust at the games that the people who make up these "diets" have played with peoples hearts minds and emotions. I think i can stop these things from happening to at least some people. That is why i going to tell you why most diets do not work!

1. They are more concerned with the reduction of weight rather that the reduction of body fat.
2. They take off vital muscle which is the major body component that burns fat in the first place.
3. They take off weight too quickly which throws the body into a defensive fat preserving state.

The true purpose of a changed eating plan is to get rid of excess body fat while keeping your water and muscle. Keeping muscle tissue is extremely important to the purpose of losing body fat. Body fat has a very low metabolic rate. By itself body fat burns very little calories. However muscle is the furnace in which body fat is burned. Always remember the less muscle you have the lower your metabolic rate and the harder it is to lose body fat.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-58490548536961494162010-09-08T06:29:00.000-07:002010-09-08T07:02:33.456-07:00DIscover An Easy Secret For Fitness Training Success<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 337px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3_ih44IGCU0OayKDfYZjsu0ejjzoY1J0RmlmpRvIfNfMDh6fKe4U58oMfHrI8miQCvErvtFKSKeVMKxe9u8xpf5fjOxZm0ZCDZWdMptBj8CpkT4rpbtO_WGWbQAUAb6-sbw1aXEpTyqbm/s200/Picture+35.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514541808532598386" />
One of the easiest ways to achieve your fitness goals and the physique that you want is to train in the morning time. Yep simple and quick to the point.

To achieve fast and effective results from fitness training you need to be consistent. Its amazing how much training dread can be built up by just going through a typical morning. KIds off to school, you off to work, come home deal with kids, and now its time to train! When you train when you first wake up typically you feel groggy. However you have little to no time to dread or find reasons why you should not train yet or even today at all.

Some might say in the morning time its too hard to train in a high energy motivated way. To that I say if you have to choose between consistent training versus inconsistent but highly motivated training definitely go with the consistent training. Any good trainer will tell you consistency is the main factor in fitness training success.

Training in the morning might be the difference between wearing that nice form fitting dress or under armor shirt you love to wear or the loose sweatshirt thats dose not look good but is useful for hiding fat.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-31143894033494284872010-08-30T07:18:00.001-07:002010-08-30T07:19:14.489-07:00Fitness Training is Unfair, Thank God!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 181px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcqoVjClrLr8Q-j8RaQJQ23XnSa-MSXYiXmruh_LXo9cHK8qqciglom7KlzPMrQTMeSQXDFwUmBRl9TRqNBscq0lMZlf3Rprk94b_5Uz6QM5PxwjeMUyQoMqafZrTR1XXF0I6Fn_1TCGb7/s200/084+(3).jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5511207198848857602" />
I was discussing with one of my clients how unfair fitness training is. The strange thing is is that some times its in your favor for things to be unfair. Imagine if to get any benefit from training you had to train for twelve hours. Then after you trained you would get the benefits that fitness training brings for twelve after that. Instead what happens is you train for an 45-60 minutes then reap the benefits of training for roughly the next 3 days. Pretty amazing. The thought of that positive unfairness in fitness training inspires me and I thought that it might inspire you too.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-15139922034950719872010-08-30T07:00:00.000-07:002010-08-31T07:56:32.862-07:00Always try to latch your training efforts on to someone a head of youWhen ever you are trying to train to improve yourself, do not make the mistake of trying to compete against someone who is not at or pass the level that you are trying to reach. As a trainer I feel that the best people for me to compete against are my own clients. Its kind of an interesting circle. I try to get my clients to be the best that they can be. Then I try to beat the level that they are at. Make sure that when you go to the gym to train that you are competing against the bigger guy or the more toned girl and not the out of shape people that use the gym as a social club,Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-57587166149801524332010-08-24T16:43:00.000-07:002010-08-24T16:43:17.652-07:00Ready to lose Summertime fat! When you trying to eat right summertime has to be one of the hardest times to actually succeed at it! Its amazing how many times when your are ready to be SERIOUS! about my eating there is another birthday, barbecue, house warming party, Etc. Well now that the summertime is almost over, in the time before the Holiday eating period begins, now is probably the best time to lose some summertime fat. Coming off of the Kids being off of school and all the other summertime distractions, I don't recommend anybody planning any drastic eating changes yet. What I definitely do recommend is that for anybody who is interested to do even without changing what they are actually eating is to definitely change the amount of meals that they are eating a day. No less than 5 meals ( a meal size being about 2 handfuls of food) a day. I know for myself I will be taking my meals back up to 6 a day minimum. Normally when I change my meals from a lazy 3 to nice training regiment of 6 meals a day I lose about 5 to 7 pounds. If anyone is curious as to why eating more meals a day make you lose pounds of body fat rather than gain it, shoot me a quick email and I will explain or post the reason in a another blog.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-43443260310283106282010-03-01T11:00:00.000-08:002010-03-01T17:47:09.854-08:00She Is Looking For Some Thing<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 161px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbxoYWlIdlsJ8aKjmLKbd6EomwMq6Pv1sDvbVvi8iAsL0m_TPmBgE9zvOEigqbmOzT8U0XzF5qQ3EwT84ucKtWsCSb1mi19dm2lBKEpmtuvsD9W4MsluI0CmOKCo3sy0IfxbCR3tI9duix/s200/sf.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443742690553638594" />Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-37107504693379056632009-12-08T15:11:00.000-08:002009-12-08T15:30:14.399-08:00Entering the Graphic Design FieldSince I have graduated from Anthem Institute Graphic Design and animation program I have become involved in an internship
with a nearby business. The Internment-ship has definitely been good in the fact that it has allowed me to get since of what real
world clients expect from graphic designers, has allowed me to become more accustomed to the time restraints in dealing with
designing graphics for clients, and has also allowed me to develop some of the best pieces in my graphic design portfolio. To any new graduates who might happen to come upon this page I highly recommend that you if possible get your self involved in
some kind of internment-ship program. Hopefully in the near future I will be able to report on obtaining my new design jobs.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4043485642957624624.post-56093562482813580972009-06-22T06:10:00.000-07:002009-06-22T06:56:13.225-07:00graphic design dreams and 3d-software days<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 152px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHGTxlb1epmwUJjlPODrKvSITnoNXyZSiSHpMN6egy8SDiArcfrQb19FSoReiHCvRgHEuWahQ1wBZm9jJlf6qei47VnR9pYbY9vGBvqD81PMz8ockSR23f8kNMS_wxIUh9cKnCNyu9SgdA/s200/b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5350150104193592514" />
I'm getting close to the end of graphic design studies at the Athem Institute. One of my dreams
was learning how to use 3d modeling software. I now know how to model although still at a very
beginer level. The program that I learned in school was 3DSMAX. One of the difficulties in
learning the program was that I was only able to use the program at school. This situation led
me to begin to learn the free 3d modeling program Blender at home. As one of my instructions
told me before most 3d programs are pretty similar its just taking the time to learn the ins and
outs of each one. It is pretty amazing to me as some one who has been drawing since I was five
learns to be able to come out of that 2d area and into the 3d world. Using the two programs
3dsmax seems easier to learn but I honestly believe that anyone who learns 3d in 3dsmax could
probably pretty easily make the switch to Blender without much trouble. Now that my 3d
modeling classes are over at Athem Institute I will continue to learn and try to improve my 3d
modeling skills at home using Blender. For anyone interested in learning 3d you can obtain the
free 3d software Blender for free at http://www.blender.org/.Ali Arangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14782549016222438071noreply@blogger.com0
